Who these terms cover

These terms apply when you use kansascityseopros.com or buy a service from Kansas City SEO Pros (12022 Blue Valley Pkwy, Overland Park, KS 66213). "We" means Kansas City SEO Pros; "you" means the business that orders the service and the person who orders it for that business. A written proposal, quote or invoice we send you can add details for your project; if it conflicts with these terms, the proposal, quote or invoice wins for that project.

Our services

We sell monthly SEO plans and fixed-price services, such as SEO audits, Google Business Profile setup, press releases, technical SEO sprints and link-building packages. What each one includes is described on its page on this site and in your proposal or invoice. We start work after you accept the quote or order and the first invoice is paid, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Monthly plans, term and cancellation

• Every monthly plan runs month-to-month. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
• To cancel, tell us by email with 30 days' notice. Work and billing continue through the notice period.
• We recommend running a plan for 6 months, because most SEO work takes that long to show noticeable results. It is a recommendation, not a commitment.
• Monthly plans are invoiced once a month, on the 5th.
• There is no setup fee on any plan.
• We may change plan prices for future months by giving you at least 30 days' notice by email; you can cancel before the new price applies.

Free audit

The free audit carries no fee and no obligation.

Payment

We accept cards, PayPal and Stripe. Fixed-price services are invoiced when you order and are due before work starts. Invoices are due on receipt unless the invoice states another date. We may pause work on an account with an overdue invoice, after telling you by email.

Who owns what

• Your Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, Search Console, website, domain, directory listings and other accounts stay in your name. We work on them as a manager or user you add, and we remove our access when you cancel.
• Content, reports and other deliverables we create for you become yours once the invoice for them is paid.
• We keep ownership of our own tools, templates, checklists and methods, and may reuse general know-how gained from the work. We will not publish your confidential business information.
• We may name your business as a client or show results from your account only with your permission.

What we need from you

You agree to give us the account access, information and approvals the work needs, and to make sure the business details and materials you give us are accurate and that you have the right to use them. Delays in access or approvals move our delivery dates by the same amount.

No guaranteed results

Search engines, maps and AI assistants decide rankings and recommendations themselves and change how they work without notice. We do not guarantee any ranking, position, traffic, number of leads, review count, reinstatement outcome, media pickup or link outcome, and we do not control whether a search engine indexes a page or a link. We do promise to do the work described, to follow the platforms' published guidelines as we understand them, and to report what we did each month.

Refunds

Unless listed below, fees are non-refundable once the work has started. That includes monthly SEO plans, SEO audits, AI SEO, Google Business Profile setup and optimization, and the press release writing fee.

• Google Business Profile reinstatement: if we cannot get the profile reinstated, we refund the fee in full.
• Press releases: if we cannot publish the release, we refund everything except the writing fee.
• Link building: if we cannot build every link in a package, we refund the price of each link not built. For example, if 9 of 10 links are built, we refund the price of 1 link.

Ask for a refund by emailing info@kansascityseopros.com. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method.

Communication and meetings

We reply to messages within 1 business day. Office hours are Monday–Saturday 9 AM–5 PM, Sunday closed. Meetings happen by phone or video call; in-person meetings are available on request, by appointment.

Clients outside Kansas City

We work with businesses anywhere in the United States. Local services, such as citation and map work, are built around the area your business serves.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a service is limited to the fees you paid us for that service in the 3 months before the claim, and neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Using this website

The guides and articles on this site are general information, not advice for your specific situation. Prices and service details on the site can change; the quote or invoice you accept is what applies to your order. Please do not misuse the site's forms, for example by sending spam or automated submissions.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Kansas.

Changes to these terms

We will post any change on this page and update the date at the top. Changes apply to new orders and, for monthly plans, from the next billing month after we email you about them.
